How I Built My Portfolio with Nuxt, Supabase, and SEO in Mind

Today I’m writing about the first version of my portfolio website. My goal was to build something clean, fast, SEO-friendly, and easy to update.

For this project, I chose Nuxt because it gives me server-side rendering, structured routing, and a solid foundation for a content-driven website. I used Supabase for content management so I can manage blog posts, project updates, and future content without hardcoding everything into the UI.

Performance was one of the most important things for me. I wanted the site to load quickly, be easy for search engines to crawl, and stay maintainable as it grows. That is why I focused on good SEO practices like sitemap setup, robots.txt, proper meta tags, and structured content.

The blog system has a simple purpose: I want to share my learnings, builds, and experiments. This first post is part of that idea. Writing about what I build helps me stay clear about my decisions and also makes the process useful for others.
