1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using mohdanish.me (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to visitors and anyone who contacts Mohd Anish about freelance or consulting work.

2. About the Site & Services

This Site is a personal portfolio operated by Mohd Anish, offering freelance services including web development, digital marketing, design and branding, and video editing. Information on the Site describes experience and services for informational and inquiry purposes. A binding project begins only after a written agreement (email or contract) between you and Mohd Anish.

3. Website Usage

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems
  • Submit spam, malware, or abusive content through the contact form
  • Scrape, copy, or republish Site content at scale without permission
  • Misrepresent your identity when contacting me about projects

4. Intellectual Property

All original content on this Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, code samples, and portfolio materials — is owned by Mohd Anish or used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Site for personal or professional reference. You may not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written consent.

Client project work delivered under a paid engagement is governed by the specific project agreement; ownership of deliverables is defined there.

5. Content Policy

Portfolio case studies and blog posts are provided in good faith and may be updated or removed at any time. Testimonials or project results, when shown, reflect individual outcomes and are not guarantees of similar results for every client.

6. Project Payments & Cancellation

Freelance engagements are typically scoped with a quote, timeline, and payment schedule agreed in writing before work starts. Unless otherwise stated in a project agreement:

  • A deposit (commonly 30–50%) may be required before work begins.
  • If you cancel before work starts, unused deposit amounts may be refunded minus any third-party costs already incurred.
  • If you cancel after work has begun, fees for completed work and non-refundable expenses are due; remaining unused prepaid amounts may be refunded at my discretion.
  • Final deliverables are released after agreed payment milestones are met.

Detailed refund or revision terms for a specific project will be stated in that project’s written agreement and take precedence over this summary.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mohd Anish is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

For paid project work, liability is limited to the fees you paid for that specific engagement, unless a signed contract states otherwise.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites (for example GitHub, LinkedIn, or client projects). I am not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms of Service at any time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
